Guys, i know its a wrong section to post it, but its a matter that concerning this section, moderators can move this to appropriate section if needed..

one of my friend from mumbai is about to send his mobile to me, he approached many couriers like D.T.D.C , PROFESSIONAL etc which refused to take it, you guys know any couriers which can ship it? Pls help me out.. Once again sorry moderators for posting in wrong section..

Dont talk to the DTDC franchisee - instead speak to their branch office directly. Go to their website and find branch office tel no& address. I spoke to them yesterday only in Kolkata - the franchisee refused but the branch office told me there is no problem.

Go to the office near Pioneer electronics opposite bus stand near Girias man .. i give al shipments from ther ..u try tehr...:ohyeah: :hap2:

simply go to any branch office of any courier, do not tell them the contents of the package, and voila, ur mobile wud be couriered....

@ anish_sha - it is a common practice with smaller branch offices of the courier companies to refuse shipping electronic stuff, if you dealing with them for the first time. Same happened with me - DTDC refused to ship a PS2 - but i opened the package in front of them, showed it to them and then packed it up again. Then they didnt refuse and take it without any hassles.

Another point : while shipping mobiles/ electronic stuff operating on batteries - you better show them the stuff, and then pack it up separately : as in battery removed and packed in another side of the same box : then there should be no problem.

Man i am pissed offf!!!
even i am facing here the same problem to send The ASUS PDAs
Only blue dart is accepting it but asking 600 bucks as shipping Cost for 1.5kg packing.
NO other like DTDC/PROff/Vichare/TRACKON etc are accepting the parcel
Blue dart peeps are saying that only shipping VIA surface for mobile NO AIR SHIPPING for cell phone..
They are askingto open up the packet for verification and asked me to remove the battery

The Problem with Courier Guys is that, While on the move some one might just snatch it(some staff may be)... It has happened many of times,so they just refuse courier the mobiles...

^^^.. thats the main problem why they are not giving us any guarantee for the product... only blue dart is trusted , my friend says so, but its damn costly..:-(.. anybody has experience with aramex?

And ya if it gets lost blame your luck and the buyer wh0 bought afterall there are no cheaper options :P

Anyone succesfully sent mobiles through Bluedart here?

i did.... all they want to know that it works & is with a declaration form. their charges are high but rest assured they'll ship it...though they will probably check the parts one by one before you.

blue dart and tnt couriers take cellphones and everything. reason is bluedart have their own planes and others do not. it is very expensive though. try TNT its the next best after them not cheap like 300 per kilo but stuff does get nicked here and there. always insure i have leant it the hard way too
