Guys .. cud anyone please give me the exact price of 5230 now.. An also tell me which one is the best.. is it 5230 or corby..
 
5230 price is at 7.5k I think when I last checked at Nokia Priority dealer. And yes, it is definitely better than Corby.

No where in stock in chennai and bloody NPD dealers qouting me 9.2k
 
Yup it is a typo for sure. Coz i purchased one for 8.9k in mumbai. Priority dealer quotes for 9.2k as stocks are pretty limited. The shop where i purchased had only 3 pieces which he got 3 days after priority store of which 2 were sold on the 1 st day itself.
 
man just get it 4m ebay ,offer ending 2nit 1ly ,its 4 Rs 8490 ,use the new year gift coupon n get that 1k bluetooth set ,best deal u will get anywhere . . viky. .
 
hmm. I have to check again with that person in Nokia Priority showroom at Total, Madivala, Bangalore. he said it was 7.5k
 
is there any decrease in price if we get 5230 without bill

in this case will we get warranty ..if not at least can we check for damages at the shop itself ...and would they replace it if its damaged

stores like Nokia Priority and Mobile Store won't give it without bill. And if you manage to get one without bill it shouldn't be a problem for warranty as those RMA centers track warranty through serial number.

if we get one without bill will it be cheaper coz AFAIK we dont have to pay tax and vat for items purchased w/o bill
btw at mumbai the vat for mobiles is almost 12.5% :@
 
without bill wont be a problem for NOKIA phones .. but these Sony Ericcson people still want bills .. yuck ..

the price for 5230 is between 8~9K all over india ..

i just want to ask whether we have to pay tax then or not...

is getting a phone w/o bill same as getting it from grey market?
