Query on internet thru Airtel GPRS on pc

hi thr...
i got gprs activated on my phone (nokia 6085)...and its working fine on the mobile...the problem is i cant connect my pc to the internet thru it...i have a bluetooth dongle and am using the mobile as a bluetooth modem (dialling *99# with blank login/paswds)...cud sum1 guide me thru this...any help is appreciated...any setting on the phone to be done and any configurations of the modem ???
 
Don't U ve ne CA-42; DKU-5; whichever compatible ??? Its much easier than connecting through BT.

If U want 2 have 2 make use of the bluetooth dongle then 1st. U'll need 2 pair the phone & the PC...lemme know if U ve or ve not done this. 2nd. U'll need the bluetooth modem drivers, which U can get through the Nokia PS suite 4 Ur phone...get it 4m nokia.co.in. 3rd U'll need 2 establish a dial-up connection on Ur PC...what OS are U on ??? Hope its vista cause I ve forgotten all abt XP already :P

Lemme know what of the abv U ve already managed & whats not happening...U can also call 121 & select the language the dail 4 & 4 again 2 speak 2 a tech exe. but most of em R dumb...I end up teaching them every time I call but U do get a smart fellow if U r lucky.
 
pairing and modems r installed....while dialling i get this error

step: Registering your computer on the network

error 734: the PPP link control protocol was terminated.

am on XP Pro tho it shudnt matter much i guess..
 
any settings on the mobile i need to do ?? coz when i put in extra initialization commands in the modem option as

AT+CGDCONT=,"IP","airtelfun.com"

it connects to airtel live but as soon as i replace it with airtelgprs.com the PPP error comes up...guess gprs is not working...but then how am i browsing internet (a variety of sites) on my mobile ??
 
Looks like U don't ve the Mobile Office service activated.

Most probably its NetOnPhone...the service that lets U browse everything on the phone but not on a PC...how much is been deducted 4m Ur acc ???

MO service costs Rs.15/day & I get abt 30KB/sec download speed in the night with my EDGE enabled K-JAM on my laptop. Not that I use it ne more...got the 2MB tata B'band 9 to 9 unlimited connection ;)

Call 121 & check which service U R on.

Try this AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","airtelgprs.com"<cr>
