CPU/Mobo Query regarding buying LCD monitor and a Good Mobo...

Hi everyone

I am planning to buy P.C dis week.I am bit confused in selecting a descent LCD monitor,that is , one which has a response time of at least less than 12 ms or so and which has some good after sales service.I wud be using P.C for normal net surfing and gaming.
My budget is Rs 9000
I have shortlisted 17" Samsung 740N syncmaster.
Is my choice correct or is there any better options available?Please do suggest at the earliest.

Also I want to know which mobo is best suited for my P.C.
Budget for mobo is around 6k.
I initilally have planned to go with Intel original DG33FB.I donot intend to overclock my P.C in future.I have read reviews about Abit ip35e but it has a double reboot issue which is quite annoying.
Regarding xfx 650i mobo it has stablity issues.
Biostar TP35D2-A7 is not available at my place(delhi).
Which one to go for then? Are MSI or Gigabyte mobos reliable?
Otherwise please let me know Asus mobos and which one to go?

Please suggest me at the earliest as I have to buy my P.C this week.

Well for 9-9.5k u can get a gud 19" LCD(viewsonic or dell..check der website) !!

u want a mobo wid onboard gpu or u hav a external gpu??

i have been using XFX 650i mobo frm de past 6 months n its working fine,widout any prblm!!

Go for Abit I35 mobo!!
 
double boot issue is annoying? gotta tell my mum that my anger management therapy is working :rofl:
gigabyte GA-P35-DS3L is a good motherboard with the same chipset,though its northbridge tends to run hot,asus mobos are said to be reliable but they are pricey than others,for the features they offer.but prolly you can find them for the same price as the other p35 boards.
 
No point going for 17 now, minimum should be 19, infact that standard is fast becoming 20/22. You may be able to get a decent 19 inch at that price, definitely less than 10k. Most LCD now have refresh rates less than 12ms so should not be a problem.

Check the current prices for the LG 194WT. I saw the 22 at croma for 12900 so 19 should be cheap. There have been plenty of complaints about the latest Viewsonic 19 inch 1935 so I suggest you stay away. Samsung 19 currently available in India doesn't have dvi. So choose between LG and Dell.
