Question about ipad warranty

Since IPAD isnt officially out in India, so if we purchase from market without B@W,then if something went wrong with it then will we have to pay for any defects or will it be covered under warranty.

I believe the iPad is backed up by an international warranty - the same which applies for the ipods and macbooks? So long as the ipad isn't released here, you may not get a replacement though.

I think it won't be covered under Apple warranty atleast in India. you will have to ship it back from where you brought it or get it repaired locally for extra money.
