I am planning to build system based on amd athlon 3000+ socket 939 processer with msi k8n neo4 platinum m/b and kingston hyperx or corsair xms ram with samsung tccd chips {memory timings 2-2-2-5 at 2.7 volts}. well my question is the ram module operating voltage is 2.7 volts and according to the motherboard specification default ram voltage is 2.5 volts but motherboard can support upto 2.85 volts. So when the memory is installed will the motherboard automatically detect 2.7 volts or shall i have to manually apply the voltage in the bois.

if that voltages are there in the Memory SPD then it wud automatically select that or u can manually configure that ....
