Question about xbox-360 game demos

Is it possible to download the game demos on my Laptop, burn them and play on my console ?

Not possible for unmodded ones. If you have a modded console, you can play the entire game which you can download off from the interwebz and burn to dvd and play the game in the console.
 
I think it works both ways. Modded or unmodded doesn't matter. You can burn it on a DVD-RW as well.
 
But where can I download it from ? When I tried to download a demo from xbox-live on my laptop, it just adds the download to my queue and says "Waiting to be downloaded on console"
