Questions and Queries on PS3

Hi All,

I have bought PS3 recently..
I have some issues, PS Store and PS Home doesnt work, it says not allowed. What is to be done for it..

I have got GOW3 with console. What are the other exclusive titles for PS3, also what are the games which can be used to compete online and how to do so....

What is the highly rated version for Football, Cricket Smackdown, Car racing. and any other good Arcade game.

You need to have a PSN ID (US or UK) to access PS Store & PS Home. You can create one on your PC or from your PS3. (BTW if you have already created an Indian PSN ID, then you can't access PS Store or PS home as service is not available for Indian PSN id's).

From the PS3 exclusive titles i've played, i would recommend these: Uncharted 2, Metal Gear Solid 4, God of War 3, Infamous & Killzone 2.

Regarding online play, for the games supporting online play just select the multiplayer option from the main game menu & select the game mode. It will automatically search for servers & log you onto one. The PS3 has to be connected to the internet & signed onto a PSN account.

For racing, i would recommend GRID & DiRT2. Don't have much idea about Football & Cricket ones.

What you need is PSN US / UK id for Store & Home Access, although you can play online via ur Indian PSN id, you will not be able to access the Store & Home.

Also the games / trophies you will earn by playing the games will be locked to your PSN id, so choose wisely

You can play multiplayer games online for free on PSN, all u need is a good internet connection.

Vinay mentioned some excellent exclusives for PS3.

Now for Football it is FIFA 11 (Oct) Wrestling it is WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2011 (Nov). Car racing Grid is awesome, but if u want some crashing fun, go for Burnout Paradise.

Arcade games are mostly available on PSN Store....once you get access you can reply here to get a good Arcade games list

for PSN Store and Home you have to create an id of the countries that has them.

there are many,JAPAN,UK,US,EUROPE,etc

you can make multiple ids from different countries so not to worry.

about Online play,there are many games with online.almost all actually except some which have strong single player experience like GOW3,FF13,etc

Ashes should be the good one for cricket,there aren't many cricket games as devs don't make them as they don't sell.

Smackdown vs Raw is the usual series.MMA,UFC,Fight Night,Def Jam,The Fight are the other fighting and wrestling series

Gran Turismo 5 Prologue,Gran Turismo 5(November 2010),Burnout Paradise are the best out there.NFS,GRID,DIRT are some other car series

Also to download demos do I need to have US/UK PS3 ID !!

you just make another PSN account selecting US\UK or anyother country as your location

and to download game demo,whichever Country you select has its own store and its own library of demo's so its your choice.but many countries like india don't have a store

just look in the black market for better priced games
