Can anyone answer following questions/doubts ?

1) Can you bid on ebay.com & ebay.co.uk while being in India using ID created with Indian address ?

2) How to do Ebay paypal payment using Indian credit card ? Do we need to open paypal account for that ? Is it possible to make the paypal payment using Indian credit card ?

3) What is shipping to paypal confirmed address only ? Many ebay.com seller says "shipping to paypal confirmed address" How do we do that when we are in India ?

4) If a person wins bid for electronics item of 100$ on ebay.com, what will be customs on it when it arrives in India ?
 
1) Yes

2) Yes. you need to create and Indian Paypal account with your Indian CC

3) That thing is applicable only for US folks. They'll mostly ship to the address in your ebay account and rarely at the one in your paypal account.

4) Depends upong what item it is. But mostly its from 12-24% and if the seller undervalues it, you'll most probably wont have to pay anything.
 
Can you really bid on Ebay UK using Indian account and Indian CC and have it delivered somewhere in UK?
 
This thing doesn't work (depends upon the seller actually). For the US deliveries, the address has to be paypal verified and thus need a US paypal account. I am assuming similar thing should be there with the UK accounts.
 
Quite a confusion...

Can anyone clarify who have used ebay.com ?

Plan is to ship to a friend in US & they will bring to India.
 
Talk to the seller before bidding , for security reasons some sellers would not be ready to ship it to an address other than the paypal address .

You can get a confirmed address IFF you have an US credit card or US bank account.

Ask seller if he ships to address other than paypal address

If your paypal account is linked to credit card you can make payments

i bid for ipod on Ebay.com and provided them with my cousin add. (Within USA)but i wasn't able to pay with my debit card ! Tried using paypal direct debit card payment but still says can't pay help me!
And plz explain paypal process to pay overseas and specially abt addition charge for payment!
