yup recently had some small issues with a wd750 gb also where i requested them to update my warranty and they downgraded it to 3 years
finally had to search the entire wd site and read all the terms and all before i came across the claus where it stated wd in india has 5 years of warranty and forwared the page to the rep. it was only after that that i got my 5 year warranty reinstated.
i think eazy had similar issues. anyways just reconfirm the warranty period after getting the drive. otherwise shouldnt be a problem
