quick question about sleep

i am running windows vista, and i was wondering if it was alright for me to sleep my rig all the time insted of shuting her down all the way.

no problem with keeping the computer in sleep.

thats what I always do... just like when u sleep put ur PC to sleep... when u r awake, just move the mouse...and hez awake!!

The one reason why I don't like my computer nodding off to sleep is that I usually have torrents downloading while I not actively using it. Is there any way so that torrents and other download programs keep running while the computer is asleep?

go to control pannel and open power options.

then navigate to "Power Schemes" and disable "system standby"
