CPU/Mobo Quick Question: Which mobile processor?

Hey, just wanna know which of these is better :

AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-58 (1.9Ghz)
Intel C2D T5250 (1.5Ghz)
Intel Core Duo T2450 (2Ghz)

This is for a notebook a friend is buying. It'l be used for CPU intensive stuff (mainly video conversion).

CPU intensive I think, the C2D will be almost as equal as the X2 which is almost as equal as the CD.

So, all in all if you wanna go for something go for the C2D as that is a better power saver.

turion X2 equal to the core duo 2XXX series

Core2duo better definitely :)

Same with the prices too ;) turion X2 n 2XXX not much difference.....core2duo will cost more...
 
In Mobile arena.... Intel wins hands down.

Good processing power with efficiency is must in laptops, and Intel doesn't have competition there. :)
 
Merom (Mobile solution for C2D) is the superior to anything else in the market for audio/video encoding at the moment ..no doubt about that. However, this is a factor if you are going for at least medium to high end C2Ds.

But among the choices you mentioned, all of them are pretty evenly matched.

So for:
Power efficiency: Intel C2D T5250 (1.5Ghz)
Cost: AMD Turion 64 X2 TL-58 (1.9Ghz)
