Quick Reviews sought for TATA DOCOMO GPRS/EDGE In New Delhi/NCR

Hi ppl,

Need a GPRS/EDGE connection for my android device. I need a service provider which has good connectivity and speeds in Delhi/NCR.

I planned to opt for Airtel but then saw TATA DOCOMO'S prepaid GPRS tariffs :hap5:

Just wanted some feedback from techies using TATA DOCOMO in Delhi. Also any other Service Provider can be recommended hyeah:

sorry but tata docomo not in delhi and ncr they yet to lauch the service for if u can wait ur wish else switch to some other service provider

used aircel but there signal strength is weak in some areas but unlimited and airtel has excellent coverage but capped usage...prices are almost same in 95-100Rs range...dont know abt other two..

if you think u can surpass 2gb on mobile surfing and apps then go for aircel or any other else go for airtel with 99 for 2gb plan and enjoy i am not saying good but atleast decent netwrk

Would test it with RC 26 recharge ...200MB over a period of 7 days
If I like it I would migrate to 98/- plan for 2 GB else chuck it.

Im sure Airtel is the best thing that happened to Delhi as far as Mobile Internet is concerned.

I too use Airtel and pretty much satisfied with the speed so far. Though to be honest there is nothing much to be satisfied with EDGE And I can't figure out what folks do with 2GB on EDGE. Network is too slow for anything bandwidth-intensive. In last one month I have hardly used 500MB.

Yup I feel the speeds are not anything to write home about. Took a 200 MB pack for 3 days to check things up. But in India we have very few options now. Anyways what speeds do you guys get on Airtel. Did a speed test and got around 3-7 Kb/s and a bit better for uploads.
