First of all, I am very sorry to reply late since I haven't seen this thread before. I had tested the card before sending it to him, the problem occured only after the dispatch.....I wonder why this happened. I replied each and every PM of the buyer, just hasn't noticed this thread. See my itrader rating...Do you think I can cheat anyone..? Nobody has ever complaint about me and this buyer imposed a black spot on me.......very depressing you know.....I just came to know about this thread after reading the moderator's PM in my inbox.

The buyer PMed me asking to bundle 6 pin cable with the card before purchase which means that he had local PSU attached to the system which may have ruined the card. I didn't supplied 6 pin cable because I clearly mentioned on my sale thread that only card is on offer.

You are late with reply here and were ignorant in the sale thread on product inquires, hence everyone predicted suspicious behavior which seems valid too under those circumstances.

Buyer is using "CM GX550 550W" he replied here http://www.techenclave.com/1468889-post15.html

Look, I bought the card for my secondary rig which my brother uses, I bought on behalf of him. My brother had an 8600 GT before on a local PSU, since you didn't provide the 6-pin cable, I bought a CM GX550 from Ankit, SP Road. Moreover a faulty PSU doesn't result in a dead card.IMO, IIRC this PSU has over 40 amps on 12v rail. The card requires only 26 amps. I have tested this card on more than 3-4 other PCs other than mine and my bro's.

Faulty psu can blow a card in one blow. After that it won't work even if u provide it any other psu.

The problem is not due to PSU ! Vertical lines are usually GPU core overheating or other core related issues. So is the seller ready to do anything. He can post here if he does not want to refund the buyer back and the reason for that.

was the card packed go an anti static pouch or just placed between thermocol?

I don't think this has anything to do with overheating if lines appear on startup.
My own xfx 8800gt alpha kutta edition behaved the same way.

Another thing-With a CM600, known to blow cards, two of my cards simply blacked out.Never got these lines.
Hope things work out for the buyer.

the PSU is working perfectly I tested my GTX260 on the PSU and it works flawlessly.such vertical lines are usually caused by DVI corruption or faulty VRAM chips on the card.

If Raheel has the bill would be helpful as Topnotch, Bangalore has agreed to replace the card if I provide the bill, have PM'd Spectre as well. But TBH he should refund the money since the card is not working properly and such lines don't occur due to courier abuse or a bad PSU.

I can get to windows in safe-mode but I can't see the temps., was able to get to windows(normally) only once before I installed drivers after using driver sweep and the idle temps were like 56C, IDK if it has anything to do with the lines but artifacts due to overheating are alot different from what I have seen.

And please don't blame the PSU as I have mentioned earlier my card worked perfectly on it even under load(furmark).

As replied to a PM from Adizz just now, posting it here. I just started the habit of scanning all my bills, unfortunately it will not help now for adizz

Hi,
I wanted to reply on that thread, but refrained as it will add more confusion
The card was originally mine, given to friend, i sold(on behalf of friend) to Raheel 6 months back with original bill

I would be glad to help, but unfortunately i dont have a copy of the bill with me now
Raheel should have that bill, dont understand why he is not giving it to u
as it is, it has warranty till May and its handled by Tirupati ( most prob u will get a better replacement)

Speak to Raheel, ask him for the bill and try the RMA part urself. Zebronics-TopNotch is all across india. You will end up getting a better card
I aint supporting him or anything. personally i dont know him, just trying to suggest u an easy and benificial route

Regards
Spectre

BS?? :bshit:

My net was down since Sunday and when i could log in here for a few mins yesterday morning, i checked this thread for the status of this dispute.

I casually checked your profile then, to check for your last activity on TE, as i was wondering why you not replying yet.

You were online/logged in then and your current activity tab said you were viewing this very thread. :)

There's no way one could verify if the card was working fine before the seller had despatched it. And having a record of itrust ratings need not necessarily imply you are one of the good traders on the forum either - one can still make do with a bad deal. That is all it takes to get your reputation in the market back to square one.

WOW!!

This is interesting!

Reminds me of an old transaction with Raheel.

I had sold an 8800GTX to raheelshadab some months ago. He wanted me to ship the card even before I got any payment, to which I refused.

Raheel complained about the card overheating once he got it. He pestered me into taking it back.

I wasn't even sure of the PSU he was running (which could have blown it.), but since he was pestering me so much I agreed to take it back.

And now he wanted a refund even before he shipped the card back to me. This was insane, and I refused again.

It was a really frustrating experience and now I feel Raheel has got a taste of his own medicine :) .

Since Spectre provided the bill.....Raheelshadab should have provided the same to OP....
Or should have told in the trade that the bill was lost....

Since again no reply from him, it seems he's not seeing the thread again.....;)

if the card is imported and distributed by top notch infotronics, then they have to replace the card. keeping the warranty tracking database system is their liability, not yours. all the principle company can track their warranty through serial no. so ask them to replace or lodge a complain against them.

i am also from kolkata. i had seen a false warranty statement is given by the seller. the warranty of all products is counted through serial no. not through the purchase bill.

so purchase bill is not a factor for giving a replacement.
