That tells me that should I have a problem, The IT Wares will provide me a replacement or a refurbished product or a higher model with difference being paid by me. This depreciated cost being offered is not any warranty of any sort.
I had a Swatch watch that went kaput. Went to a dealer. The model was not being manufactured. Paid an extra Rs 500 and walked out with a higher priced model with no depreciation. Balance warranty was applicable on the replacement. I did not deal with Swatch.
Ask OP to Pay 500 i will send him a Brand new PL30 (Bought from another distri) with full 1 Yrs Warranty (Superior Product having more warranty right)but he wants to do this so fine we'll do this

Anyways from what i see from user experiences its like if a outside Dealer tells u something u will say good and if TE Dealer even offers you the real Value of your used product then No he should give more right cut down his business cut down his throat

I suggest we all drop him from our shopping lists and once cash registers stops ringing,these arrogance will uinderstand the damage it has done.

How is this arrogant it is the truth the OP has a product which has 5 Months warranty remaining i will give a product with 12 Months Warranty how is it not be superior tell me ... stop bad mouthing me its not going to help i have given OP the best solution that i can

Even if the Warranty was 1 Yrs then according to my formula they should have deducted only Rs. 1900-2000 and not 2700/-
I understand this matter was mutually agreed upon but here i don't have anything for the OP when i had i gave to Gannu and many others who claimed warranty.
The way your post sounds is like - i am also with the OP and want the Dealer to Pay like others here and sorry to have posted this and now the Dealer is using this Truth

According to guys here Rashi / Prime is Fair and good (No Offence to them) when they deduct Rs. 2700/- instead of 1900-2000 but i am not when i offer the real Value of the used product

People will never bash(no one is bashing really we are all discussing) without any reason. you always mentioned your calculations/your formulae which is utter BS. Formulae or Calculations should be made by customer and agreed upon with dealers but youare doing a vice versa here.you sell the product you tell how much you will pay if its gone wrong. you derive usage Prorata warranty basis.. Customers just sit and hear what all you say and be happy ?
Guys here on TE dont want any BIG Dealers etc.. they want honest good and polite Dealers who have CUSTOMERS ARE THE KING mind set.. atleast thats what I look at when I buy.

I am saying that you should use the process/method that others are using and not to find some selective points that suit your side, Why cant you provide another same model product to the client?? and if you dont have the same product , then its your duty to give him FULL MONEY BACK or else the next higher model as replacement and let the client decide if he wants the replacement or CN.
How can you decide for CN even before giving him option for next higher model replacement???? and who are you to discover your so called "FORMULA" for calculating CN?? and why the hell should the client accept your formula, which is in your side??? Did you disclosed the "Formula" while he was purchasing from you????
Its your duty to support him and get the rma done because you sold the product , you provided service to him and he paid to you.
As per your way, if someone buys a chocolate from nearby shop, and if some problem happens with the product, you want that client to go to the company and not to the shop from where he bought and took the money/margin for providing the service???? are you kidding me?
Its your duty to co-ordinate with the company and get the rma done, if you want to put everything on the company then why be in between ? why sell product?? let the Soundmagic sell its product as it want to, why take margin/profit if you cant provide service??
