well.. a new update...dunno if its relevant or not :

A user from another forum bought a brand new PL-30 from the said dealer which was delivered recently. He posted the screenshot of the bill, and it was dated 13-07-11, i.e. the same day -jeri posted this thread. So the dealer's words that he didnt have stock of Pl-30 is utter BS.

Its remarkable how much pleasure you derive out of that blog. While posting it, you truly did a terrific job, the motive behind it seems totally different. The "lol" you started the message with goes to say a lot.
I am sorry but you come across to be more twisted than the most devious dealers that I have seen. If the idea was to spread the message about a warranty policy that was flawed then its appreciable. But your post seems to indicate you were just venting out some sort of frustration or acting vindictively.

Its remarkable how Rahul has realised and changed his policy. Cut him some slack. He will have work to his way back. Like he said "better late than never"
err... excuse me? why should have I "cut him some slack" when he wasn't cutting any for another old TE member while cheating him in broad daylight and even defending the same vehemently..Anyways, I'll delete the post or update it once jerin receives the products (though the new updates have again put me in two minds since it is now clear that he does have PL30 in stock)

It's was not my distribution stock as I said I had bought the same from another dealer I even made him wait for 5 - 10 mins ask that guy even the packing of PL30 will be different he got the latest white packing not the golden packing that I had, its like telling a service center - Sir its available on eBay buy it from there and give the warranty for the same. I can even do that as a dealer but not are a service center.

Can we stop this ?

He is the dealer here for 4 years or so I guess and also he has done some business I don't think he will lie for 900 rs thing . Also he mentioned and closed his PL30 dealer thread here in TE. Pointing out it OK.. but the context you posted is something annoying.. I am not supporting anyone.(You can see I am the few who started to reply to this thread in Page 1)

@ALL the point this thread is created has served its purpose I hope Please start a new threads /PM dealer directly if you have a problem or made an observation

I beg to differ. This thread extended for soo many pages as he was stubborn in saving 300 bucks. For 900 bucks he can surely do much worse.

But I agree that since this issue is resolved, it'll be better if everyone report any additional issues or concerns in its own thread or PM dealer/mods for resolution.

@shantz..

I honestly didn't understand why someone posted such a comment after going through this thread. So thought will ignore.

As they say, you cant win all. Thats the beauty of it.

As said before whether or not the entry to be deleted or otherwise is completely up-to you. I am thankful to u for that and needless to say it was VERY useful.

I wonder what the people who "buy" the sound magic products from him will do for warranty?.

@urskiss.

You are absolutely correct. He didn't lie for 900 bucks.

He lied for 500 bucks for a day then 300 for another day.

They will give it back to me and I will send them to the distributor we got it from and give warranty for the same.

I have explained what I was doing in my earlier posts.

^^ Rashi service is very good in Bangalore at least ...experiened twice last mnth ! PPl who are screwed in Mumbai by Rashi go to the Asus Royal Club directly.Also service is very much improved these days thanks to some knowledgable people in Asus Mumbai office :P

@All.

I got a Rantopad H1 mouse and a Arctic 4 * AA rechargeable battery set today from the "ITWares-RMA" procedure.

Thanks for all the support. I mean it. I was never a fan or believer of community shommunity funda. But Indian online communities are a very strong, closely knit, sensible and supportive group of people. No doubts. If they have, please check threads created across different forums and blogs regarding this matter. If you haven't got by now, you never going to get it. :)

Am i happy with the outcome of the RMA? Simply no. I gave for RMA, my most frequently used piece of item, an IEM and got a mouse pad and a battery. Will you be happy?. Either way, i need to spend a 1000 bucks on new ones.

But whatever sadness is there, it was removed completely by the overwhelming support for this cause.

Regarding these threads and entries, I for one suggest these never be removed. Dealers should be made aware that you cannot bully around people. No matter how arrogant or stubborn you are. No after taking our money. Provide us with the deserving service. This Indian mentality of chaltha hai or everything is made of shit is not going to work.

Usually people say All's well that ends well. Doesnt feel that much well this time, so ill let others have their own ending.

I gave my GTX280 for RMA, directly to Rashi in Bangalore, last Wednesday.

Any idea how long it takes for gfx car RMAs in Rashi Bangalore?

Thanks,

I would request you not to take out the blog in any case. Just keep updating it with new developments. Thanks for your efforts in helping the community in whatever way you can.

Look at the bright side. Instead of spending money again on those sm crap earphones, you can get something better now.

Happy to know that M.jeri got quite a good replacement, although wont be happy by these, but better something than nothing... :)

Huge thread, read only first few pages.

I am very dissapointed with the attitude of ITwares, having bought loads of stuff from him.

Fortunately, most of the stuff i bought are branded products having manufacturer warranty, But except one - Samsung 1.5TB HDD with 5 years warranty.

I checked with ITWares before buying and he said, the warranty will be honored by him, even if the company doesnt handle HDD service in India. I even have the PM logs for it. and a proper Sno VAT paid bill mentioning 5 years warranty.

Now, if the HDD tonks off before 5 years, what will be the warranty term. Would you provide same or higher capacity HDD or pay this differential bullshit.

I want to know now, how you will handle this warranty

Let me make it clear. I dont want such pro-rata credit note for some product i bought with warranty and through proper channel. If you cant handle proper warranty, please tell me. I will send that HDD back and you repay my entire money or give me Seagate / WD HDD which has proper manufacturer warranty

We are not the service center or the distributor for the same here we will just be acting as a middle man helping you to claim warranty for the same, It will be sent to the distributor by us and whatever they say will tell u that and whatever u say will tell them that.
