Rainbow Six Xbox 360 screenshot. WOW

R6 Lockdown is so very sad, it's not even funny.
One more great franchise ruined to suit consoles...

Looks good, but RavenShield will remain the last 'true' R6 game. These new ones are mere Halo'fied shells.

ruined. If anything it'll help secure more sales, profit developers to make more games.
Its always so hard to see in your prospective.

What do I care how much money a company makes if the game isn't good enough.
I didn't get the money, all I just got was a game that isn't good enough.

Lockdown isn't R6, it's Counter-Strike++.
Anyone who has spent hours in the RvS planning room perfecting a strike-plan will let you know that.

And it'll be crap to only those, who go out and play it to such depths of strategy, which i think is in minority anyways, so hardly makes a difference.

That huge difference won't be noticed (exept ofcourse, in gfx depart), i think it'll be just as good. And why would anyone who has it on PC get it on 360 anyways?

Heck, you won't be seeing any more r6's if the company goes bankrupt or turns in 'not so expected' profits, so support the developers always and encourage the console port, because Sales = The biggest thing developers care about. and ports on consoles have a way huger market.

in any case, i'll agree it will definitely ruin that advanced parts of gameplay and A.I along with graphics. So lets try and keep it till here ;)

@Zoo - C'mon. What's a with a little debate?

Today Ubisoft, one of the world's largest video game publishers, announced that it is developing Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six® Vegas for PC, next-generation and current-generation video game consoles. Scheduled for an Autumn 2006 release and developed by Ubisoft's award-winning Montreal studio, Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas is the fifth iteration of the multimillion-selling Rainbow Six tactical shooter franchise.

GAME OUTFIT Ubisoft has confirmed that it has started work on Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Vegas, for all available consoles.

The game tells the story of how Las Vegas, a sort of Disneyland occupied by the guests of Jerry Springer, gets held to ransom by terrorists.

Ubisoft promises that the game, which will hit the shops in Autumn will "push the envelope of technology through graphics, artificial intelligence, physics and animation."

Which is odd since we thought it was a shoot-em-up rather than a postal simulation.
