PC Peripherals RAM Advice

ok i got new mobo etc.

but still on old ram twinmos 512 @ 400 & transcend 512 @ 400. so its not working in dual channel.

since i am going to singapore i am planning on getting new ram.

how is this ram i need to know. ram timing is 2-2-2-5 & price is really less.

i have never used corsair ram, but i have heard they are great & looking at this ram it seems a steal in singapore if i get at this price. should i buy this or consider something else, my budget isnt that high for ram.

also if i run 512 x 4 same corsair xms ram will it still run in dual channel ddr.

512x4 will be dual channel .... but i will suggest u to take 2x1gb ......

yes....2 x 1gb will be better. Otherwise you will be forced to run it in 2T mode.

TWINX is very good ram. Its mostly gona be TCCD. So should overclock well. With little loose timings it will clock really high.

Storm get the Geil ULtra X series I posted earlier, they are very cheap for their performance.
