ok firstly i am using kingston ram 667mhz 2 gb in dual channel on abit ip35e mobo. i want to shift to 800mhz 2 or 4 gb. brands i am considering are gskill, ocz and corsair only. dont mind getting from kmd as well. budget for 2gb is 3k and 4gb is 5k. please update fast with ur answers and help me. should i get 1066mhz will my mobo support it ? what are the costs involved. i would like 3gb total on my pc since i am using vista 32bit. but i guess if i use 4gb the 4th wont work at all right ???

Your mobo Supports Dual channel DDR2 800/667 un-buffered non-ECC memory

Abit IP35-E Pro Supports Dual channel DDR2 1066/800/667 Un-buffered Non-ECC memory

get either 2gb or 4gb if you buy 3b then won't be able to utilize dual channel.

Who said you that 4GB will not work. It will work perfectly fine. Only diff is that you will see only 3.xx GB in system properties, that's not a big issue

So better get Gskills 800DDR2 modules

wihch gskill are u talking about again ? any links or pics or details of the same. also these speed things how are u supp to see the,5-5-5-15 is very good or normal, the more the better or less the better :P

Thats latency the lesser the better.. it denotes how much secs it takes .. i woud say go wit mushkin or gskil or corsair XMS 2:)

which gskill are u people suggesting ? are the xms2 good rams better than gskill ill try getting discount on them. xms2 is for 3k for 2gb right now.
