So here are my specs , trying to get some life out of the system
Ryzen 2700X, Asus TUF B450 Plus Gaming, 4x8GB G.Skill Trident 3200, GTX1070
I recently had a lot of performance issues when I played games and saw that my memory was actually running at 2000MHz. Any attempts to select a higher value in the BIOS lead to a No Post situation. Now, I decide to test the system with just two memory sticks - matching channels. It clocks all the way to 3200MHz but crashes after playing games for 10 mins. Ive got it working fine at 3000Mhz @1.3v. But I wanna use my second set of sticks too. So I check the clock timings changes needed and I cannot for the life of me find the names of the parameters in the bios. Please help me understand the process a little better and get some more out of my PC until I can afford an upgrade. It would especially be helpful if you have the same or similar mobo and have attempted this.
