Got this pricelist for Zion ram. Have used them before and they are quite good. And im surprised at how laptop ram costs the same as desktop even tho they are supposed to use denser chips. And DDR II prices are just crazy :S

AFAIK Zion uses original Hynix Chips and in the case of DDR2 ,Hynix chips arent that great.Also there are other options available in the market that OC decently and also cost less.

Yup. ZION is very reliable in that regard. They have always used good quality chips and original. Sometimes its not worth the risk of getting cheaper but possibly fake ram modules. So, any idea when we can expect prices to fall? Is winbond entering the ram market again??

Rt now for people looking for decent ram (ddr2 667) the ocz gold modules from itdepot seems to be a good option. Taxes and all included will come to 13k max

how about Transcend Jet flash @ 667 ? ... i thought they OC well too.

I have no experience with Zion. I always use Crucial (http://www.crucial.com). Extremely reliable and always OC. They ship worldwide with wire transfer.
