PC Peripherals Ram Query

I have just purchased a new motherboard which supports ram upto 32gb at 1666mhz. I already have two rams 2gb each at 1333mhz. So was thinking of buying two 4gb rams and making the total to 12gb. Now my query is will the 1666mhz ram work with 1333mhz ram or should i buy 1333mhz ram only.

This is my motherboard Gigabyte GA-B75M-D3H.

Yes it will work but all rams will run at a downgraded speed of 1333mhz.
