I have currently 2 X 1GB Transcend JetRam 800Mhz.
I am thinking of upgrading to Vista 64 bits.
But, Vista x64 requires more than 2GB of ram, preferably 4GB.
What should I do, please suggest me one of the following which would not be hard on my pockets and the best : -
1. Keep the current ram sticks and get two more 1GB sticks of the same make
(But this would not be future secure, with less chance of upgrade).
2. Sell of the current two sticks, and buy some budget ram, maybe transcend 2X2GB 800Mhz or xms 2 (if i can arrange some moolah) .
3. Install a 2GB stick with the present of the same make. ( But this will disable the dual channel ).
4. Do not upgrade coz Vista is crappy.
What should be done ?
My specs are displayed in my SIG. :hap2:
