Supra

Galvanizer
I have a 2GB kit of AxeRam 800Mhz (D9GMH). Dont expect it to be priced at current RAM prices though as you can't get these things anymore. Will part it for 3k shipped.

Here is an idea of what it can do :P

3k lol....
price too high :(

i myself have those same rams.. mine does 1000mhz @ 4-4-4-10 @ 2.1v !
i had bot mine new for 2.7k.... tat also almost a year back !

urs is a vintage i guess :P

Your wish....I will rather keep it as getting good Ram which does 1000 4-4-4-12 costs at least 200$ now :P and is very difficult to source :)

good luck !

PS:
others member in the same forum is sellin his same vintage ram to me for much-much less.

may be i`ll buy his :)

I can see Deathbuster Crucial selling for 2.5k....so for AxeRam its nt bad...I am open for bit negotiations ...nt much though :P

They go Kaput over time :P and happens to 95% of all Crucial Ballistix :P

well then i seem to be lucky :P have two kits of ballistix which are more than a year old, have been subjected to all kinds of abuse and voltages and still clock the same @ the same voltages

Mods- can you please delete any products discussions or merits/demerits etc from this thread please. :|

FEI, People go ballistic with their Ballistix and that's the main reason that they die.
Also, why only Crucial, most D9GMH die often when one is pushing them for sustained period of time, let alone benching.
D9GMH clocks great but also dies sooner than D9GKX usually due to the higfher volts required.

If Supra saar gets 3K for axeram, what should i ask for my cellshocks (touchwood)?
I think one gets guaranteed D9GMH in return, if D9GMH cellshocks are rmaed- God forbid.
Same possible for Axe?

Maybe we should leave the debate to a thread in PC peripherals. :)

Well, I will pay even 4k if I can get hold of 2 X 1GB D9GKX based Cellshocks (PC2-8000 4-4-4-12). For the D9GMH based Cellshocks (PC2-8500 5-5-5-15) also, it should command at least 3.5~4k.Cmon see how much they sell for in Ebay US and XS ! They are legendary stuff which you dont get anymore. People paid 120$-150$ for Crucial 10th Anniversary DDR2 667. People here will say " Saar, this is old RAM, might die...plz give for 1k"

^ i doubt you will get 2x1GB Cellshock PC2-8000 4-4-4-12 for 4K. :P
Let me know if you do and i will have to beg/borrow to buy me a pair. :drool2:
I have the D9GMH PC2 6400 4-4-4-12 which is doing fairly well for itself- touchwood.
Why don't you ask Rio saar- he may just ask you for something else instead.

lol!! Newegg has some old GKX,GMH which is selling for 200-210$ even today  these are 2x1GB 4-5-4-12 @ 2.3

Cellshocks which can do 4-4-4-12@ 2.1V @ 1000 are surely worh a lot more. And anyone who sells them is an @$$ :P

i had picked up both my ballistix kits for $50 each when the dollar rate was ~40, both of them do ddr2 1100 @ 4-4-4-8 easy at 2.2v. i also have a team xtreem ddr2 667 kit which i got for rs.1600 ~$40 which can do clocks which any cellshock kit will be hard pressed to achieve :D

^^ Lol let me know if u want to sell anything

Btw the Cellshock are 8-layer PCB and do 1200 4-4-4-12 @ 2.45V which is very difficult for D9GMH. In fact I have seen none :P

D9GMH may demand a slight premium over regular stuff from an OCers point of view.

But Axeram cannot be compared to Ballistix or Cellshock or Team Xtreem. :cool2:

All said and done, Axeram was always poor man's D9GMH. :P
BTW, $49 Gskill 2x2GB DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 1.8-1.9v 4GBPI Black costs 3240/- via KMD. :O
Update: Sorry for indulging in the ongoing product discussion in this thread.

Mods may please delete all such posts from all and please pardon my mistake. :ashamed:

They are not D9s anymore! they are mostly powerchips

iirc they did ddr2 1400 5-5-5-15 @ 2.5v and ddr2 1500 5-5-5-15 @ 2.7v (thats the max volts we've passed so far).

heres harshal's crucial ballistix at 512mhz @ 3-3-3-18 @ 2.95v (and this 'deathbuster' kit is still very much alive inspite of the insane voltage :P )

ameys ballistix (which is now mine :P) doing ddr2 1100 @ 4-3-3-12 @ 2.375v

team xtreem>>>cellshock be it raw mhz or tight timings. just as ballistix>>>axeram
lol at those ppl who bought the overpriced (iirc 15k+ thru memoryc, was it?)and overhyped cellshit kits

lol I didn't buy cellshocks :lmao:
I had a Crucial Ballistics Tracer 800Mhz (D9GMH) which did a max of 1220 Mhz (5-5-5-15) @ 2.1V :P

Btw show me an Orthos blend test stable with voltage at 2.1V at 1100 Mhz(4-4-4-12). I believe what I see :P...ppl here are buy the RAM for their system and not bench for an hour or two...just joking...dnt flame me :P

BTW, $49 Gskill 2x2GB DDR2 800 4-4-4-12 1.8-1.9v 4GBPI Black costs 3240/- via KMD.

They are nthing better . Max they do is 900 Mhz 4-4-4-12 and dont even ask me abt 5-5-5-15 scalibility. And ya I do have them :P. ppl who swear by D9GMH scalibility wont even touch them ! I see no reason why I should sell my AxeRam for say below 2.5k :P
