I kind of dislike the 'Random From Sidebar' on the forums page. I've seen it highlight super old threads like a 8600gt showoff thread and even now the first pic is from an iphone 4 show off thread from 2010.
Sure it's amusing in a way but i'd like to see the latest on a tech forum.
You could move it down and replace it with the 'latest from gallery' sidebar or put a limit on the age of the threads displayed.
 
There are two blocks, Latest as well as Random. Are you saying that we should exchange their places?

The problem with latest is that members do not update the gallery often.

Yes, i don't want to see something from 2008 first when i access te forums.
