Range of a LAN Wire

i em planning to Connect a Router to Router from my 1st floor flat to my 2nd floor flat which is in the opposite site and the range is around 75-meter
now can any 1 tell me does the normal LAN wire has a range of 75 meters
if not then can any 1 tell me what is the exact range of the same

100mts and you'll need a booster, but many people swear by the 82mt mark. 75mts is pretty safe.

Your going for CAT5/CAT6 btw?

i'll go for CAT5 types of wire(Which is around 8 Rs per Meter from laminton)

100 meter is limit , at 75 m it should be ok . You can even stretch it to 120-125 meter and run on 10 mbps full duplex at that distance .
