Total bliss!

I've finally decided to give my ASUS Xonar DX sound card for RMA. Need any suggestions/inputs from members who've handled Rashi before in Delhi.
Any info will be helpful... like name of a good technician/custmer service agent to be contacted etc.
Many thanks.
(Keeping my fingers crossed!)

@Rockfella ASUS has recently added Digicare Services into their list of their after-sales providers, try to contact them and find out if they can handle the soundcard.

Because the ~4 times I have been to the Rashi service centre in New Delhi, it has been an absolute b**ch and timings are pretty screwed up too (1000 -->1600 hours, weekdays only). RMA of products is also pretty fickle and they try to repair the said product in question before sending it in for RMA.

I will PM you the centre number if I still have it, Cheerio!

Spoke with Mr. Yadav, he seems helpful and said Rashi doesnot handle ASUS Rma anymore ???? Well that's good news.
Thanks guys.

Pure bad luck my Power Colour HD5770 also died yesterday. Who gives RMA for it? Thanks.

Just returned from CDS and they only do ASUS main boards and graphic cards! Now i have to rely on Rashi Nehru Place as the ones in gurgaon don't do sound cards :no2:

For Powercolor graphics cards I think it is Tirupathi Enterprises. Contact them and find out.

Sorry, Sire. Did not know that.

Hope this helps, Cheerio!

These don't handle PowerColor.

Do you still have the box on you, it has the importer details can track RMA from that point on.

Also, check up with Aditya Infotech.

I have the original box bill everything. Importer is Rashi and for RMA it states :care@rptechindia.com and Mr. Arvind Jha @ 02503-246041. They've not replied to my email and noone answers this number. It sucks to be in India ... specially if you are an enthusiast of anything.

The problem is that the card works fine if i connect speakers/headphones to the front port, the rear don't work. I am wondering to use the card as it is (which sucks! because noone wants to do makeshift stuff after paying 5k ... interchanging speakers/headphone all the time) or wait for 2 months to get a another ****ed up in a different way one.

I think he meant the box and importer sticker for your Powercolor card.

If you can see into the future why are you asking for suggestions :P. Get a new card. Or a cable splitter.
Edit: Another option is sending it to Rashi Peripherals' Chennai office, they seem to be better than the other offices across the country. Please call/email them first though.

I posted that in despair. To my surprise they gave me a new DX in 3 days!! Well this is the good news. The bad one the new card has its own issues. I didnot mention here because i thought it is not relevant. I modded my mobo to somehow fix the sound card. Please check the pics, is there a possibility that the sound card might malfuntion due to the bend? Or am i getting all DOA ASUS Xonar DXs Asus is throwing in India?

:p Had no choice :p The new DX gave some BSODs and i get random lockups and only a restart seems to work. Tried all drivers. to my surprise the oldest vista drivers are most stable but still lockups are regular.

Bending a PCB is never a good idea. If you have a spare PCIe 16 slot below your GPU, you could try using that.

I suspect that you're putting it in the PCI slot. I just took a look at some of the photos you've posted, It seems like you have only one PCIe 16 slot. Are you putting it in the Blue slot where your GPU usually sits? Or the white one below it?

I installed it in the black small slot above the blue pcix16 slot (where the gpu sits). This card doesnot fit in the PCI slots.
