After I came to know about bad After sales from Rashi, I try to steer clear of products distributed by them.

Last weekend I was shopping for a DVD-RW drive, I was about to buy Sony, but then realized that the distributor is Rashi, which is the only reason I went for a HP Drive. The distributor is neoteric. I don't know how good these people are but can't be worse than Rashi.

ASUS started its own service centre. I got this news from an S.P road dealer. Hope this news is true.

the real thing is that Many Rashi's repair technicians are not technically & formally trained, many fo them are basic elec:diploma holders, they takes them & send them some printed service guides (and sometime HO meets),THATS ALL !.

Many service technican even dosent have basic EMI protective measures too, many of them even wears many rings & bangles without having an earthed anti static strap!!!
so many of these simple ignorances even causes minute damage to the products too!

then finally rejects as user fault/damage !!!

This is not the case of Rashi alone, many ASPs have the same story or more !!!
the real thing is "ONLY GOD KNOWS "!

a couple of yrs back i sent them my asus a8ne board for replacement as the southbridge fan stopped working. i regretted doing that. got my board back after 3 months, with sound disabled on one channel and all the pci slots not working. Didnt bother sending it back to them again. who knows they'd gimme back again after one yr.

can someone post the entire list of products which are sold/serviced my rashi ? i'll keep myself aloof from them.

I have had enough of these b!@#$%^s. I just wrote a mail to XFX pointing out as many complaints as I could find.
I will be starting a site soon which will dedicated to rashi's antics.

Personally i had 3 XFX cards and were very good thankfully I had no issues with it.
We cant let these guys make fool out of people. If am not wrong they are doing this since 10 years.

Rashi is in the habit of using various tactics to deny RMA to the customers. The least of them is to simply try your patience and see if you give up on the RMA after a month or two. The worst of them is to do some physical damage on the product you submitted and deny then RMA when you subsequently call them for an update. Alternatively they have also been known to hand you a physically damaged/non working products as a replacements and then deny any further replacement.

Time and again I have heard these reports about Rashi from friends, dealers and forum members, So be careful when dealing with Rashi. Always take a closeup photograph of you motherboard/graphics card/whatever product from all sides and let them know subtly that you have proof of physical condition of the product before you hand it over to them for RMA.

I wish to share my experience which I recently had with Rashi Peripherals service center. Though it was not about the graphic card as I'm using MSI RX2600XT (Silent), but about the Asus mobo. I visited their service center at Nehru Place, New Delhi. It was 4.45 pm and I was not aware of the fact that they entertain customers only upto 4.30. The gentleman incharge along with a lady were very nice. I told them that I was not aware of the timings and that I was sorry to have bothered them at the wrong time and that I would come again on the next day. Believe me, I was offered a chair to sit down; a brand new mobo (P5KPL-AM/PS) was handed over to me. I thanked them and came back. After putting back my computer into action first thing I did was to send a mail to their CS manager, appreciating the help I got other day from the incharge & the lady at service center.
Incidentally after a week or so my friend from USA presented me Intel Pentium E7300 as I was using PIV 3.8GHz/2M/800. While removing the P4, I accidentally put the silicon paste on the LGA 775 socket. Before putting the C2D CPU, I tried to wipe it off with my handkerchief and in the process I accidentally pulled out a pin from the socket which got stuck in the handkerchief. I had immediately realised that I had done the blunder. I tried pushing back the pin in its place but could not succeed. Next day I went to the service center again and narrated the facts. Thereafter the engineer tried to fix it but couldn't. I was told that the whole socket has to be changed.I cursed the moment when I tried to clean the paste, and waited patiently to hear the cost involved in the replacement. I was again offered the chair; made comfortable and offered a glass of water. I was then offered a cup of coffee. In my heart I was calculating as to how much the repair would cost me? and was thinking that in order to get maximum out of me these people are being very courteous. Before even I could finish my coffee a challan was put before me and was asked to sign. Being really nervous about the cost I just signed it without even reading it. And immediately thereafter I was handed over a brand new sealed pack mobo. When I asked how much do I pay 'nothing'! was the prompt reply from the incharge but he did give a word of caution to be more careful in future. I sincerely thanked them all & walked out of the service center holding the new mobo. I then went straight to MSI service center as I had seen an automatic socket replacement machine there and found out the charges for the replacement of LGA 775 socket and was told Rs. 700.
I am not here to advocate in their favor but then we must realize that every coin has two sides of it. Had I been demanding or had I thrown my weight around as a customer; an end user I could have ended up paying 7-8 hundred plus I would have been asked to come next day, may be after 2-3 days. And mind you, like most of the middle class families, I too do not have two computers at my residence. And being without computer- without surfing the net for a day or two ....

Now permit me to mention here about the MSI service center too. This S/C is being run by a company who's providing warranty support services to D-Link, MSI and few other companies. The in-charge is a really nice & humane person. I first visited this center with a D-Link DI624 wireless router (again presented by the friend from States) The in-charge not only helped me in configuration of the same but also advised me to buy a voltage converter instead of paying the double the amount in buying 220 volt adapter (the adapter that came along was of 110V). Later when I got RX2600XT, the MSI was pleased to agree in providing me warranty support for one year. All I can say is that "blessed is he, who expects nothing for he shalt never be disappointed" And secondly, "Do unto others as you would like others to do unto you".:hap5:

Nice 1st post. I was thinking the same thing. That all the ppl facing problems with Rashi (including myself) must've behaved like a-holes, hence the superb lack of service.

I called them yesterday askin for their final decision abt my card after sending so many mails. They said XfX is not accepting my card even if they try to send it for RMA,..SAD!! I even told them that i am ready to pay the amount to put the missing capacitor, then they said they will ask xfx about the expenses. Lets c wat happens  .. ITS ABOUT THE MONEY!!

Still am getting 5850 :P ..8800GT for physx so begging at rashi for it :)
