I have noticed that the rate of growth of members is very slow. So hows TE staff tackling it ? and what can the members do to help ?

Doesn't matter.Look at the number of active users, its always very good.In comparison, the former site(can't mention it by name)hardly has 4 or 5 active users now.If the forum is good, people will find it rather than the reverse which may actually lead to lots of noobs like hardboy coming in and spoiling the fun.We don't want this to become another 'Ask TT' for sure.

Maybe because of exams and stuff like that? We will probably see a spurt in late May or early June when everyone is free.

I'd say if you use instant messengers, then try to keep a link to techenclave in your status message!
Also, spread the word among your friend circles.
If you own a website, homepage, blog, anything, then do try to give out a link to TE!

Members can come up with their various own ways!

Also, I think, the TE staff should organize an event/competition in which the member with highest referrals could be awarded or something along those lines! Maybe the site which generates the most traffic for TE could be awarded! C'mon, guyz, come up with your own schemes! :D

.... bosky tries to deftly move thru this thread in invisible mode like a ninja ...and learn what his fellow members have to say ...and sees their mixed feelings in this feedback ...and then remmbers an ancient programming proverb....." one mans constant is another mans variable" .he wishes the other staff members move in invisible mode as well to study the members the best and thanks aces for his comments...the ninja now disappears....back into oblivion...
