Watched it yesterday. And it was dumb on so many levels.
And what the hell is bollywood's obsession with the ghost being a good guy.
And what was Tripti's role you may ask, to show cleavage that's it, nothing more.

The fight choreography of this original Malayalam movie is top notch and the violence reminded me of the recent Hindi movie Kill. Another gangster movie with fast pace but predictable screenplay. However, recent movies like Lucky Bhaskar, Pushpa 2 and also this movie to an extent glorifies crime. It depicts only with crime you can become rich and not by hardwork. Anyway this movie is good for a weekend watch if you are up for the gore and violence. This is available in multiple languages in Prime video.

Always saw this being on top of the list for psychological horror. The story was good, but the acting was excellent. Hannibal grabs your attention whenever he's on the screen.

For me, It sparked the 2001: A Space Odyssey nostalgia. It felt slow-paced and that brings a slight realism.

Easily the best movie of 2024. Heartwarming, touching, wonderful and absolutely gorgeous to look at. It wouldn't surprise me if it gets a best picture nomination and even ends up winning.
I can also see why "India" didnt send it as the Oscar nomination, the movie's politics are the polar opposite of what the government is right now. I am surprised they even let it be on Hotstar lol

Groundhog Day: 8.5/10
Cool movie. Inspite of seeing other related movies first, like Edge of Tomorrow, it still feels fresh and a great feel-good movie.
Bill Murray is such an amazing actor, he acted so effortlessly and charmingly.
Andie was great too, especially with her facial expressions.
In my view, this is a timeless movie.

Just came back from the movie hall watching Nosferatu. 9/10. Amazing horror movie after a long time. Unsettling and brutal. The director really did not pull any punches and went all in to make the villain look and feel monstrous. Would highly recommend.

There are 2 other films by this name Nosferatu which are Nosferatu The Vampyre(1979) & Nosferatu - Symphony of Horror(1922). All three are great horror films.
