@Freaky

Do you have any warranty left on your mouse? If so then it is advisable to RMA it. And i really don't mind fixing the mouse for you :)

just give your mouse from where you got it..and if they dont take it then ask them the address of Razer office... If you are from delhi then I might be able to help you out !;)

this WD40 fix really works :D
tried it on another deathadder, and that too appears to be fixed :D

still to be seen how long it lasts.

Good to know, was planning to pick up a DeathAdder when my Intelli 3.0 dies.

I had my the same issue with my 3.0, came after click abusing with Titan Quest. Went away after some months all by itself :|

I am facing similar issues. And I've run out of screwdrivers, trying to find one that actually fits without grinding it out.
Say, if i get WD40 with that thin long nozzle, can I just spray it from the gap between, without opening it?

I too had the double click issue using a new Deathadder 3500Dpi mouse. Firmware was 2.13.

I updated the firmware to 2.41 available from Razers Website and the issue has been resolved 100% in
my case. Please note i could not get the firmware to properly install under Vista x64; It did work first
try in XP.

I am glad in my case it was a firmware bug and not a mechanical issue. I hope you fare as well :)

update. I got a bunch of D2FC7N replacement switches from Melody electronics at SP road. They're not the same OMRON, but equivalents. Finally going to fix all those dead mice :D
