RC Planes

My friend wish to buy an RC Plane which can run on fuel. Any idea where I can get good ones in India ?
Do we get planes which use petrol or is it that methnol kind stuff ?

I know of 2 hobby shops here in Ahmedabad that sell such R/C planes.
They are made out of light weight Balsa wood and run on some Ether oil mixture.

R/C planes as a hobby are pretty expensive. A friend has been flying for more than a year now and according to him, it's better to start out with the cheaper battery operated ones and upgrade once you get the hang of it. I'll ask him about the sites/ forums he frequents and post here. That is, if he's in station. Works in a remote area with very poor communications.

I know but my friend wants a fuel type because electric ones stay on air for only about 15 - 20mins max.

I've seen a lot of these RC ones which runs on fuel on my academy's labs (made using kits by enthusiasts from the maintenance wing).. Never really cared to try them out & never are we allowed to do so also.. When we can fly the real thing, why should we bother..
