hey i see grains while i RDP from my Laptop to my PC. see pic. colour is set to 24bit but the grains dont go away. i also felt the conn was sluggish.
Laptop IBM - 1.5ghz 256 ram, pc 800mhz - 128 ram.
so
1) how i do i kill the grains.
2) how do i optimise my LAN.
3) also, my laptop has LAN setting for his office. that would be like 160.x.x.x and gateway would be like 160.0.0.24. now i have added an IP 192.168.0.2 and gateway as 192.168.0.1 and given 192.168.0.1 ip to my comp. Seems to be working fine. someone said their might be some form of conflict with two IPs. ?? what is this conflicting all about? basically i want the LAN settings to work both in his office and at home without changing anything
4) with the 192.x.x.x ip the speed shown was 100mbps. with the 160.x.x.x it was 10mbps. why the difference ?
