RE5 - Coming to PC ?

Resident Evil and Street Fighter developer Capcom has sworn off the practice of making "next-generation" games exclusive to one home console like the PS3 or Xbox 360.

"All major titles launched during the next fiscal year or thereafter will be developed as multi-platform games," reads Capcom's shareholder report for its fiscal year 2008, which ended on March 31 of this year.

Henceforth, Capcom will develop many of its games using its internal MT Framework technology, "an integrated development environment built to provide common development tools for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC platforms."

As a result, the company "will aim to increase revenue and dramatically increase the number of users by launching, for example, Resident Evil 5 ... Street Fighter IV ... and Bionic Commando [on multiple platforms]."

Capcom's strategy appears to already be in action. Aside from its work on MT Framework platforms, the zombie-smacking Xbox 360 action title Dead Rising is already getting some multi-console love, and several games including Street Fighter IV may be Wii-bound.

I so wish this game comes on PC

since capcom has said that its titles will bu released on both t60 and the PS3,
i dont see no reason why it wont come to pc,
but prolly that will happen like gtaiv, it will comes some months after the console game releases

Seeing as how every major RE game right since the very first has been on PC combined with Capcom's new policy of porting everything to the PC, RE5 has an almost 100% chance of coming out on PC's.

This is how I always wanted things to be.
Screw exclusivity - Let the gamers decide which is the better platform, not the games.

the game is best played on console.hated RE4 on pc but loved it on the wii

@kris30 yeah re4 sucked on pc.. but look at devil may cry 4 it rocks on the pc.. i just hope they port re5 like that...

The thing with RE4 PC is that you have to treat it exactly like the PS2 version. Don't go in expecting any improvements or enhancements.
Just apply the latest patch, connect a gamepad and play. It's a pretty good port.

I played RE 4 on PC using my XBOX controller. . and i must say it wasn't bad and i enjoyed it. .specially the interactive cut scenes. .reminded me of the good ol' GD OF WAR Days

I am waiting anxiously for this game to get a PC announcement.Since Capcom had made Lost Planet, Devil May Cry 4 & Bionic Commando Rearmed multi-platform, I don't see a reason why this game should cross hands on the PC.Judging by the way they optimised DMC 4 so beautifully using the MT framework, I can't even fathom what it could do to RE5.

I have been a huge fan of RE4 & wanted the sequel to be even bigger.By the looks of all those gameplay videos, it's going to be 10 times better than RE4.This might sound funny but I am looking forward to this game more than God of War 3 & even Gears of War 2.

Wish they make an official announcement.
