Else the subject might not have come up.
I'm Nachiket, the guy responsible for the interview.MAGNeT said:Also wont be surprise raiding nachiket house finding lot of hardware freebie...May be corporate gifts might be coming.
Article have lot of exaggeration must say.
If jumping to conclusions were an Olympic event, you guys would fetch us gold medals by the truck loads.Virus.exe said:I have a question here. Why does the E-Lounge invoice charge 5% VAT without having a any Service Tax/Sales Tax/VAT number mentioned on the invoice?

I have attached scanned invoices of the components that I have purchased from either PrimeABGB or E-Lounge (IT Wares) over the past few months. Yes, purchased with my hard earned money and NOT gifted or given to me otherwise as bribes. I get the same rates as you guys do; well, except for the Delhi folks, who enjoy even more awesome prices. In fact, if you notice some of the COD \ home delivery bills, these so called "corporate gifters" haven't even waived off the delivery charges for me. As you can see from the incontrovertible proof attached, I have never misused my position to ask these shops for discounts, let alone receive any freebies from them.
As for the interview, the sole purpose was to get an insight into what caused the exodus of the enthusiasts from the brick-and-mortar shops to the online ones. The best way to do that was to talk to the two shop owners (in Lamington Road) that specialise in enthusiast-grade hardware, and have a physical as well as online presence. The idea was to get inputs from both PrimeABGB and IT Wares; however, since Gulbir was out of the country at that time, I could only talk to Rahul.
More importantly, this was an interview and not an "Article" as MAGNeT eloquently puts it. Interviews are transcribed, so I cannot rewrite or modify what Rahul has said. All I can do is weed out the questions and the corresponding responses that strayed from the subject or were too self promotional, which I obviously did.
The next time you intend to question someone's integrity, back it up with proof. Making wild accusations such as these only makes you look like a total retard.

Have you considered the possibility that I may have cropped the bill to save server disk space? That's exactly what I did. At any rate, I have attached an uncropped bill, replete with the numbers that you seek.

No particular reason other than the answers given were either not interesting or insightful enough, or bordered too much on self promotion - which, if included, would have looked bad from the editorial point of view. For this very reason, the original plan was to interview, the two Lammy dealers with online presence, PrimeAGBG and IT Wares. This would have provided enough redundancy to prevent complete omission of questions for the lack of quality answers. As fate would have it, Gulbir had left the country when I showed up with my voice recorder.vahss_11 said:Btw, any reason for not having more focus on After sale service, and instead of giving lot of time and focus on just selling products?? I mean, how will a person staying out of mumbai be able to get his RMA done with ease if he buys from prime or itwares. It would have been more helpful if the focus/information was more on After sales service rather then on just sales.
It's common sense. What's the point of of posting an 1800px image just to include the company VAT#, when all I had to show was the price I had paid for the goods, which could be achieved at half the number of pixels? I don't see any sense in unnecessarily uploading entire documents along with the irrelevant parts, just because some of you fancy going detective Dikshit on me (he's my favourite detective, by the way).Virus.exe said:Please stop sensationalizing the question. Were we supposed to dream that you cropped the bill? Any information posted anywhere is expected to be in full and unedited unless you specifically mention the same.
Pardon me, but your Shakespearean irony is lost upon me. Kindly clarify the emphasised part for me.Virus.exe said:I had a question, you answered it, end of story, stop standing and staring and move on.
I never called you a bad journalist, I dont have anything to say on the intention of your article, I am just saying that it would be much better if the article was more on the real reason as to what makes people comfortable enough to buy online from prime without any "Indian style of Feeling product" before buying, and the only reason is the After sales service and trust in the company to provide and deal as professionally as possible.andreophile said:My only request is - call me a bad journalist, if you find this article lacking. I will take that as constructive criticism. However, if someone questions my integrity without furnishing evidence, I will defend it with extreme prejudice. Speaking of which; I'm still waiting for Manish Tiwari - I mean MAGNeT - to respond with either (a) evidence to back his corruption theories, or (b) accept his folly.
