Really noob Question: Bringing headphones from US.

Dear all,
This might be a really noob question...

I had asked my friend to buy a headphone for me, he is currently in US. His parents are coming back to india next week. He is sending the headphones through them.

My doubt is, How they should bring them.
Do they have to open it and wear them
can it be box packed in the checkin (Luggage).

I don't need to attract customs..
BTW they are od 100$(Just) value.

guys, pls help..

There shouldn't be any problem, recently one of my friend brought me a GPU from US, all sealed and with the retail package :)

Just put it in the luggage and you'll be fine
 
You better keep the headphones in cabin baggage else you know how baggage handlers are...they may flick it from the check in baggage :(

+1 to that! Keep them with you. And don't worry, goods worth 25K can be brought in India w/o paying customs.
