receive international payments in india

Not a CA but I think it’s illegal. Even if your income is outside India, if you’re a tax resident of India, you’ve to declare it as income. Have heard of cases where people with foreign dividend income earned in foreign accounts not declared in India have got tax notices.
I did say it is illegal. But people do it.

@lockhrt999 any WISE user know where the linked indian bank account is? i have personal and business account but i don't see my indian bank account anywhere.
I too have both, personal and business. And, as far as I can see Indian Wise personal accounts are just a placeholders. I don't think they serve any purpose.

About business account, can you go to payment tab, open a USD account (or currency of your choice)? I'm sure it'll ask you Indian account details then and there.

Indians aren't allowed to hold non INR currency in any form, ultimately they have to send it to your Indian account.
