Hi All,

So i have a Airtel sim in India. And I am in US. Need to do some banking Txn and forgot to change my mobile number to someone back home.

Anyways to do that without me going to a ICICI bank in india? Online?

Ways to do ICICI txns if the sim is in International Roaming?

Thanks

If it is prepaid number, no need to activate international roaming, it is sort of automatic. If postpaid, you need to i think, probably also pay a deposit or something.
Now about receiving SMSes, let me warn you that even if you are connected to some roaming network and all in USA, there is no guarantee that you will receive the SMS. I have experienced this a lot.
Now coming to getting the One Time Password, ideally you will get on the phone but since i mentioned above it may be a hit or miss i suggest you keep their US number handy, call them up if the OTP does not come, they will give you the OTP on phone. I have had to do this a lot when doing transaction on ICICI when i was abroad.
Another way is that there is an app for ICICI (not iMobile), it is called i-safe, it is supposed to enable you to generate the OTP on the phone itself, probably requires an internet connection too. So i believe the app would be a better solution for you rather than waiting for the SMS to arrive.

I second @raksrules 's comment. I too had faced difficulty in generating OTP while i was in Singapore. Used to call Singapore ICICI CC to get OTP everytime.
Got to know about i-safe later and it does the work.

They do give the OTP over the phone, but oddly they will not give the URN.
