Firstly, we are extremely sorry for being offline without notice. We had a hacking attempt recently but fortunately, we quickly found out about it and took corrective measures by isolating the script. We also took some time off to harden the server security.

Hmm... I was getting horizontal and vertical scroll bars for every post. Magically disappeared now.

Looks like you have harden server security little more than required. Try keeping everything in default setting with basic security. vBulletin itself is very secured script.
