well, you can prepare a whole lot and leave it in the fride, just put it on bread if you get hungry and put the rest right back in for later....its not gonna get spoilt ya know
neways, my sandwich has vegggies, mayo or thousand island dressing(i hate mustard), cheese slices, pepper, oregano, and some cold cuts like chicken, ham or turkey :)

Thousand island tastes great!

BTW - a quarter of a large cabbage will be sufficient for 3 sandwiches.

^^or you can use only lettuce instead :)

i have lettuce, some capsicum, cucumber, grated carrot (coz too much carrot spoils it :P )

Agreed, too much carrot isn't really to my taste either. However, I really like green olives in the sandwich.

Bah am in office and am hungry now. Have to keep a tab on these recipes at home tho :bleh: My tummy is growing a lot being summer I'm hungry all the time. Anyways Chaos; I dont worry abt the pesticide becoz my tummy seems to digest everything that is put in

oh yeah...another tip for sandwich makers :)
put the cheese next to the bread and veges inbetween so that the cheese keeps moisture away from the bread and it doesnt get all soggy

Okay I just made this sandwich , although i didn't have all the ingredients. Here is what i did :

I mixed mayonnaise with cheese and added a little curd to it. Made a paste. Then added finely chopped capsicum and finely chopped boiled chicken pieces to the paste. Applied it on the bread and made a filling sandwich. It was decent but i had hoped for something better.

Okay now my question is does adding cabbage and mustard paste really change the taste much ? Am i doing anything wrong ? Does mixing cheese with mayo spoil the sandwich ? Also do we have to add the boiled chicken pieces in the paste or directly on the sandwich ? What if i grill this sandwich , will it taste better ?

Guys if you have any other sandwich making recipe plz share it with all of us. I am tired of eating biscuits @ Night :(

Mustard paste will bring out a lot of flavour! Cabbage - I like it in my sandwich, depends on a person's taste, I guess.
I have not put in any cheese in this type of sandwich yet, so I can't comment on the flavour with mayonaisse.

You can also try a toasted sandwich - toast the bread first, and then put in the filling.

If you have the time and patience, making pizza is very easy as well.
You need
1) Smith&Jones or Maggi Pizza sauce
2) Mozarella cheese (or any that you prefer but mozarella is the best, really) - you will need to grate it first.
3) Capsicum
4) Onions
5) Mushrooms/olives if available
6) Pizza base (should be available at your local bakery)
7) Tomatoes, if you want em on your pizza
8) Shredded chicken pieces
9) Oregano/ other italian herb seasoning (bottle ought to be available at the local food store)

You will need an oven, or a microwave WITH grill function (you can't microwave this) .
First of all, spread tomato paste over the pizza base - don't overdo it.
Then, put capsicum, a little onion, tomatoes, mushrooms, olives, chicken over the base according to taste.
Layer the grated cheese over the pizza.

(Imp : this depends on your oven heat)
put the pizza in the oven and grill till the cheese is runny, but hasn't turned brown - in my LG microwave, it takes about 6 - 7 minutes before the pizza is done.
Afterwards, sprinkle some oregano/herbs over the pizza, and you're good to go!

dont put curd :)
it will make the whole thing bland
throw in a little mustard for flavour.... and some pepper and herbs

and i dont know but i always like cheese to be seperate from the rest of the mix :)

Thanks for the recipe AK. :)

Here is my simple recipe for making Bread Pizza.

1. Take some onions and capsicum and chop them finely.

2. Then deep fry them in a pan , add salt to taste.

3. Take a a slice of bread and spread some tomato ketchup on it.

4. Sprinkle the now fried capsicum and onions on the bread.

5. Sprinkle some grated regular cheese on the bread.

6. Now take the bread slice and put it in a pan, cover the lid and heat on low flame for 5 minutes.

7. Enjoy your Bread pizza :D

^^its 2:30 in the morning doode.... time for a snack i guess lol

if you fry the onions before use its fine, otherwise they r just too pungent and have a dominating flavour
