Recomendations for DVD Players

hey guys im a real noob at this my sis wants to buy a dvd player and i have no idea about what to recommend
basicaly i want DOLBY/DTS and also Divx in it
her budget is around 4-6k

also mom will prolly buy a plasma TV next month or so...
 
Yes I would like to know too about ones which support divx/xvid etc and also the price.(budgets around 4k). Also, more the formats supported, the merrier :ohyeah:
 
Ok a very stupid question but can you just dump your divx videos onto a cd and these players will play them?
 
Get the Toshiba one, I saw it the other day while testing a Samsung Mosel at an electronics shop.

Amazing PQ, has all the bells and whistles your looking for.

P.S. - Don't forget to invest in a decent HDMI cable too, they can do wonders for your system ;)
 
I bought a LG 9443 a year ago for 3.3 K. Works well with DivX/Xvid. It is also region free out of the box.

Don't know what model numbers they have now. You'll have to check.

get the philips dvp3046 for Rs.2900 or dvp 5150 for Rs.3800. Both play DIVX but the latter has 6 channel sound & black front
