Recommand me a 256 Kbps broadband connection.

hello there ppl,
i know there are many topics gng arnd regarding this but i wanted specefic info so started a new thread.
just like u all i am sick of the 64 Kbps shared lines and would like to go for 256 Kbps unli connections(probably night unli as my budget is only 600 rs,the same which i pay my local cablewalla)
i contacted hathway but they said that they dont operate here in ghatkopar(mumbai),so that leaves me with mtnl and sify.
mtnl triband sounds good but if someone would enlighten me abt the customer services,speeds,ports,bit torrent speeds. etc i would be grateful
as for sify the various topics says it all . :hap2:
if there are any more connections do let me know.

AFAIK there is a 500pm night unltd 256plan dunno abt the others in mumbai though.

which plan are u talking abt?the mtnl one right?
and also there are abt 50 odd views but just 1 reply.

MTNL/BSNL or any of its variants should definately be avoided since they are NOT unlimited! They have a data cap of 1GB.
