Recommend a professional Handycam Sony

Hi,

I went through this thread here:

and it seems that this is a good handycam to go for:

But the post is dated :25-07-2005

So any other new Handycams, in the scene, that i should go for (only from Sony)

HC42 is a good buy....

Since ur very keen on Sony, that model gives the best bang for your hard earned rupee...But then it can hardly be termed a pro handycam...it's an out & out consumer (not even a prosumer model)...there are almost no manyuual controls on that model....

I love using SOny handycams when I am feeling braindead....

Else, I'd recomment one of those 3 ccd models from Panasonic (Gs-150 if I rem' the model right....gives mucho better results than the HC42)
