Fellas, I'm looking to buy either a 450W or a 500W for my rig.

I wanted to get the Powersafe 450 / 500, but then the guy at the store said colorsit was recommended by intel and that it came with a 3 year warranty as opposed to PowerSafe.

Honestly... which one do i go for?

Colorsit seems to have a lot of models in the same range... GOLD, Gold Silent, Gamer, Standard.. blah blah blah.

Please guys... in a nutshell... Best SMPS to buy in that range and the price.

Thanks for the help...

Oh and BTW... I don't want to cross 1800 bucks.

colosit is shit...for 2000-2200 u can get the 450w powesafe...or else a member here is selling off his new 450w powersafe for 1.8k

Hello,
I think the Vantec ION2 460 should be a good buy at 3.7k odd!!
Please clarify this with existing users!!
If you need something even more inexpensive, then i Think Powersafes are the least expensive worth considering!!
Please correct me on the Powersafes everyone.
Are there any Zebby 400/450/500 or anything else good enough at the price of PS400/450/500??

where u from?

I got a sparingly used Powersafe450, 24 pin, with 3 yrs warranty for sale!!
