Monitors Recommendations needed for an OLED monitor with 2K resolution

I'm seeking an OLED monitor for gaming on my PC setup, specifically looking for a 27-34 inch screen with 2K resolution. I've already purchased LG C4 55-inch OLED TV for my living room, which will be connected to my PS5.

After researching, I've shortlisted three options:

1. MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2
2. Dell Alienware AW3423DWF
3. Dell Alienware AW2725DF

I'm currently leaning towards the Dell Alienware AW2725DF, but I'd like to explore other options. My budget is around ₹60,000 - ₹80,000, and my PC specs include an Intel Core i5-13600K processor, Z790 motherboard, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070TI graphics card.

Can anyone recommend other OLED monitors that might suit my needs?

I have aw32 and love it. When i bought dell was the only option.
Note -
1) Dell basically stopped giving out firmware updates. Look up reddit and check last firmware date in official site.
For an expensive product, that seems wrong, esp since competition do give out updates.

2) Dell has this issue where they cover the panel with some plastic and it seems to slightly damage the antireflective coating in the panel.
Its only visible if you direct a light/torchlight close to the panel, but its there.
I have a few spots too, but there is 0 impact in actual usage. So i did not bother with going through any hassle seeking replacement.

3) Panels are same. Assuming MSI one doesnt have any issue and is at similar price, ill definitely go with MSI today.
That said, again - i am very happy with it, these are minor annoyances for me.
MSI 27 360 is available around 58 and that seems like a great price. Dell i see is 75k, makes no sense to me.

4) I heard that Samsung is coming out with 3d oled 27 monitors. That looks very interesting, dunno about price.

I'm also looking for OLED, from what I have found, Dell has all the talk since their reputation is good for high quality expensive monitors
But the newer msi oled monitors are also getting very good reviews and they are available at lower price.

Been using the LG 27GR95QE for around 1.5 years now with 4900 hours on it.
Haven't had any complaints personally but the panel is a bit low on brightness if playing in a well lit room or have a window/door facing opposite to the monitor.
Have had zero burn in till now, been using at 80% brightness (I play in dark room) since I unboxed, have let all the Pixel and Panel refreshes run without any interruption.

Would rate it 9.5/10 except for the brightness.
I think they fixed the brightness in the -B model released last year with an updated panel but ymmv.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask or dm.

How much did you pay for this? I'm looking to get another oled for TV watching.
1.14L for C4, as I got bulk discount from Croma since I purchased all appliances and other stuff for my flat.
Based on suggestions it looks like going with MAG 271QPX QD-OLED E2 will be a good choice rather than spending premium on Dell Alienware.

MSI makes the most sense if you are dead set on 27 inches price wise imo.

However since I'm in the market right now for a tV.. it seems Samsung S90D 55 inch i can get for about 1 lakh locally 55 inches.. LG C4 is at 1.05 lakhs.

which makes me believe that the 48 inch samsung should be lower than 80k easily for the same. i know it's big but it can be used as a dual monitor at 100% scaling.

60k - 27
80k - 48

I would have choosen the 48 for sure.

Reviews say Samsung has a bigger color pallet due to being qd oled vs woled on LG and is brighter compared to the C4 in game mode and low latency.

I am going to visit Croma today so I will have a look at Samsung S90D but I think space will be an issue for me to fit 48 inches on my desk. Also the 42-inch, 48-inch, and 83-inch models use WOLED panels.

I have registered interest on the Samsung site. Pre orders are starting on April 7 and those who all register will get ₹3,000 coupon which can be redeemed while pre booking the new range of OLED monitors.

Nice.

I closed on the 55 inch S90D today for 98k via croma only.. should arrive tomorrow. They didn't have a demo but I hope the reviews hold and its actually somewhat better than the C4.

Let us know your experience with the demos.

I did visit Croma today but they said S90D is not available in 48 inches only LG C4 is available in 48 inches. I saw 55 inches S90D demo at their store and the display looked phenomenal.

Monitors will likely be not as impressive, they aren't as bright. That's what i have heard. Still great for someone used to ips.
I use them in dark room, so i try to reduce paper white to ~120 nits and hopefully that should increase peak brightness a bit.

I've been using my C2 in a very well lit room and next to a window.. i keep failing to see this brightness argument by everyone regarding the oleds

I have my oled at 50 pixel brightness and honestly even 40 is fine. whenever HDR is on.. it hurts my eyes more than it pleases them.

We should ignore the brightness argument all of them are good enough for everyday use even with very well lit rooms.

maybe the reviewers are over blowing this argument so they can push people to buyer higher end models like the G4 etc.

I should have mine installed tomorrow.. let me know if you would like to know anything specific you weren't able to know with the demo.

qdoleds monitors do have an issue with peak 1000 mode dimming in brighter scenes. Lots of complaints around it.
But - i am very happy with it, coming from ips and not having seen TVs.
I also use peak 1000 because i like the small bright highlights and they are more impactful with lower paper white to me, and its fine as i anyway prefer to have darker rooms.

ex here-

You have a TV, which i guess is brighter.

Almost anyone who has seen both TV and monitor say that latest qdoled TVs are better because of higher brightness.

My only choice was to either get the 4k32 monitor or not, as no space for tv and need it for work.
So i am happy with it, but i do think that TVs are probably better.
They even go to 2k nits now and can sometimes have a hidden option to disable ABL

Anyway, its bright enough for me. Perhaps a glaring sun wont be as bright. Doom eternal was stunning, ori too.
