Posting as a friend of mine needs to improve his day trading setup. Mentioned the budget as 90k plus, as the dude doesn't mind spending more if it makes trading easier for him.
Right now he has an intel NUC (I think i5 6th gen, 16GB RAM and 256GB SSD). He uses the system solely for trading and thinks the performance has been decent so far.
He has two monitors - both are 22 inch 1080p IPS panels from AOC, so my guess is something similar to this - https://www.amazon.in/AOC-24B2XH-Monitor-Frameless-Response/dp/B084D49PQR . He is not using any monitor arm at the moment, though he is planning to do it.
He told me he splits the graphs into 4 windows per monitor so he can see things at once. My suggestions was one of the following -
1. Upgrade both monitors to 24-28 inch 2k or 4k panel
2. Get 2 more 22 inch 1080p monitors and upgrade the NUC to something which can output to 4 screens + monitor arm to mount the displays
3. Upgrade to 2 ultrawide in stacked configuration + monitor arm
He says it would be nice to see as many of those graphs with decent clarity, hence my resolution upgrade suggestion.
Any day traders here? Is this a decent upgrade?
