Rockstar said, "we love Red Dead too – and are thrilled that so many of you loved John Marston’s tale and are excited for more epic
Western action. As we mentioned in our last set of Asked & Answereds to similar questions about the future of other game franchises like Bully and L.A. Noire, we don’t always rush to make sequels but that does not mean that we won’t get to them eventually. Stay tuned for further announcements about the future of the Red Dead series."

Rockstar, please make it happen! :hail:

So loved playing RDR and The Undead Nightmare back then. John Marston was such an awesome protagonist!

RDR and CoJuarez:BiB are the best western games i have played! Any addition (except the Cartel) is welcome!

And also, high chances of Marston's son being the protagonist?

How about a PC version this time around?

Tough chance of that happening. Unless Rockstar suddenly wakes up from their slumber and realize that the first game needs to be on PC as well, I doubt this will turn out to be multi-platform.

There was just no god damn reason for R* to not release a PC version of the first RDR. The same statement applies to the sequel/prequel as well.It is almost as if Rockstar was saying "You PC gamers don't deserve a game like RDR!":happy26:

Seeing as how most of their other titles, either published or developed, have made it to PC eventually, we might just have a chance of Red Dead Redemption coming on PC too. They might have reserved this game as an ace up their sleeve and would pull it out, when their other games don't stand up to the mark or they just want to see their sales figures rise up. At least they aren't being utter pricks like EPIC, who have completely abandoned a platform which had earned them their reputation and now are console sell-outs. Either way, I'm sure Rockstar will think of something. It's just a matter of time. If a game like Alan Wake can make it across on the PC, 2 years after it's console debut and still be appreciated, I'm sure RDR's day would come too.
