Android Redmi Note 12 Pro - Overheating

Hi -
I have a Redmi Note 12 Pro that gets quite hot to the touch. I have followed the usual threads on how to fix this, but to no avail.
  • Phone is not used for gaming or social media even.
  • HyperOS 1.0.11.0 (Feb 2025 security patch)
  • Using Nova Launcher Pro
Is there any specific troubleshooting that can be done?
Would replacing the battery fix this issue?
 
On Redmi Note 13 Pro which has little heating issues.
If you don't have a rooted device, remove unwanted crap (obsolete apps)
Try to factory reset.
