Refrigerator around 200L - Mumbai

Our 10-15 yrs old 165L BPL refrigerator will die anytime now. Need new one asap. Got few queries:

Which will consume more electricity: automatic single door OR frost free double door?



Does 1-2 yr old mnfg. dt. cause any problem? (just in case if they are cheaper)

Any place in Mumbai where I can get CSD discount or factory seconds (as of now, have decided to go with Samsung)

Is an inverter model an option for me?

How are godrej refrigerators? Was thinking of just visiting once their vikhroli factory 2nds shop as its nearby my house (ghatkopar).

BTW, no non-veg, no alcohol, etc. family of 4 adults (but current 165L was enough)

Budget is around 15k

Other things I have in mind are:

1. 5 star rating

2. wired or glass shelves

3. stabilizer free

If possible, suggest any models (200L-250L).

usually, a frost free model will always consume more electricity reason being the heating coil will be running periodically. Double doors also tend to be of higher capacity (more in the 230l segment starting)than the single door models so usually they will consume more.

i recently got a samsung model RA19FD (195 l single door), is 5 star rated and cost me about 11.5k in kolkata. There are many other similar models available in the 9.2-13k range.
