Hi

Im planning to buy double door fridge around (220-250 L),Budget is around 12-15K.Kindly suggest me a model to buy like LG,Samsung,Godrej

ALso suggest which one is best among the three in terms of performance, service
and life

Dont go for Whirlpool... my personal exp... i got it and had to call in the service guy5-6 times just to set the internal temperature right... the vegetables would start to form ice crystals due to excessive cold... coriander leaves would turn black and liquid food like curd and juices had ice crystal layer floating on top!!

i got my fridge replaced thrice (once coz the wrong model was delivered)

well looks like u bought a direct cool fridge,if so it can happen to any brand.frost free fridge don't suffer from these since they constanly maintain a particular temperature, but the drawbacks are much higher power consumption.
direct cool fridge can be set to the optimum temperature, once u know the sweet spot.if u are one of the people who think green u can go for a direct cool fridge.whirpool is a excellent choice, they are the worlds largest home appliance maker,so they do know a thing or two about making refridgerators.

Avoid Whirlpool. It has no refrigerators with the 5 star energy rating in the frost-free 200-250L segment.

If you can find the Haier 271HP5 then thats the best option!!

Otherwise get the LG or Samsung 5 star rated (~230L) for 14k. The Samsung is nicer than the LG because its shelves are better organised.

I just got the Samsung 280 liter 5-Star Rated Refrigerator last week. The shelves are made of toughened glass. The overall look is very good and uncluttered. Also the Samsung service guy promptly came to give the demo. If you get a good price for the Samsung go for it. Remember the MRP is just for display, you can always bargain for about 2K less.

I recently bought Toshiba Refrigerator. The experience so far has been excellent. Zilch issues so far. Excellent cooling, and nice to look at :)

I would recommend Toshiba as well. I have two of them Using it for last 2 years odd. Not a single problem with it.

With your budget buy a Samsung 230L Frost Free with FreshTech.
